App licence

Teevo is made by Amberlake, operated by Max Robson. Apps downloaded from the App Store use Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement. This page explains the product and purchase arrangements; it does not replace that agreement or your statutory rights.

Your content and services

Teevo is a media player. It does not supply playable channels, films, series or subscriptions to streaming services. Only connect sources and access content you have permission to use.

Third-party accounts, services and add-ons have their own terms, charges and availability. Compatibility can depend on the format, provider and device. Discovery artwork does not grant a streaming licence. Teevo is independent of the services named on this website.

YouTube trailers

Teevo’s embedded trailer feature uses YouTube API Services. By using that feature, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy and our trailer privacy explanation.

Plus and free trials

Monthly and yearly Plus subscriptions renew automatically at the price Apple displays before purchase. Eligible subscribers can try them free for seven days. After the trial, the selected plan renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. An introductory offer is subject to Apple’s eligibility rules for the subscription group.

Manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple Account settings. Cancellation stops future renewal; access follows the terms shown by Apple. Lifetime is a separate one-time purchase with no renewal or free trial. Purchases are handled by Apple.

Plus applies to Teevo’s paid features on supported Apple devices using the purchasing Apple Account. Family Sharing is not included. Source-provider subscriptions are separate.

Local prices, taxes, eligibility and availability are displayed by Apple before you confirm. For a refund request, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

What you are buying today

The plan comparison describes the current Plus features. Future plans, including downloads and recording, are not current entitlements or guarantees of delivery.

Open-source software

Third-party software retains its own licences. Find the notices in Teevo under Settings → About → Acknowledgements. For the corresponding source of the LGPL libraries, including our changes, email hello@amberlake.co.uk. The source offer is free of charge for at least three years, as stated in the app’s acknowledgements.
