More ways to find your fit
We made SplitKeyboard because we wanted split typing back on iPad Air and Pro, with a familiar Apple-like feel and more ways to make it comfortable.
Version 1.01 brought ten typing languages, plus Colemak and Dvorak layouts for English. You can spread two fingers to split, pinch to join, and keep a different fit for each. Adjustable key heights let you adjust to your hand size.
A little more choice
Next is 1.02, which is waiting for Apple’s review. It adds Arabic, Persian, Hebrew and Urdu, plus a phone-size layout you can place on the left, in the centre or on the right. We’ve also added hold-and-slide cursor movement and clearer setup.
People type in different languages, hold their iPads differently and have different needs. The aim is to give you useful choices without making everyday typing complicated.

The in-app preview is free. Typing in other apps requires a one-time purchase, with no subscription.
